reeves youngMarketing Internship • Summer 2025
For ten weeks, I worked alongside the marketing team at Reeves Young, helping bring construction projects, proposals, and company initiatives to life through thoughtful visual design and marketing materials. The experience strengthened my ability to balance creativity with business goals in a fast-paced corporate environment.
THE CHALLENGE
Construction marketing requires balancing professionalism with personality. Every design needed to communicate trust, experience, and quality while staying consistent with the company's established brand. The challenge was creating marketing materials that were both visually engaging and practical for business development.

MY PROCESS
01
Discover
I began by identifying the key moments of my internship and organizing them into a clear story. My goal was to create a presentation that was informative, engaging, and easy to navigate.
02
Design
Using the Reeves Young brand guidelines, I developed a cohesive visual system with consistent typography, graphics, colors, and layouts. Every element was designed to reinforce the company's identity while reflecting my own creativity.
03
Produce
After finalizing the digital designs, I prepared each component for print, ensuring the sizing, spacing, and materials would translate effectively from screen to presentation board.
04
Present
The finished trifold was displayed at the 2025 Intern Expo, where it communicated my internship experience through visual storytelling and highlighted the projects, skills, and lessons I gained throughout the summer.

"Great design isn't about making something look better—it's about making something work better."
— Working within an established brand taught me that creativity thrives within constraints. Reeves Young challenged me to think strategically, communicate clearly, and design with purpose. It reinforced that every visual decision should support a larger business goal, not just create something beautiful.
